GREAT QUOTES from SMITH WIGGLESWORTH

"Great faith is the product of great fights. Great testimonies are
the outcome of great tests. Great triumphs can only come out
of great trials."
- Smith Wigglesworth

"It is impossible to overestimate the importance of being filled with
the Spirit."
- Smith Wigglesworth

"Before God could bring me to this place He has broken me a
thousand times."
- Smith Wigglesworth

"The secret of spiritual success is a hunger that persists...It is
an awful condition to be satisfied with one´s spiritual attainments...
God was and is looking for hungry, thirsty people."
- Smith Wigglesworth

"It is better to live ready than to get ready!"
- Smith Wigglesworth

"God has privileged us in Christ Jesus to live above the ordinary
human plane of life. Those who want to be ordinary and live on
a lower plane can do so, but as for me, I will not."

2008 PROPHECY by DAVID WILKERSON

NOTE:  Published several months before the big Crash...

2008 PROPHECY by DAVID WILKERSON
-First published June 2nd, 2008.

Ten years ago, I wrote a book entitled, America's Last Call: On
the Brink of a Financial Holocaust. In that book, I warned of the
following events:

oThere would be a meltdown of the bond market.
oGod's judgment would strike suddenly on the U.S. economy.
oA brief, false sense of prosperity would precede the coming
economic collapse. (This short flicker of prosperity would be
God's final mercy call before the chastening to come.)
oThere would be a real estate meltdown, with a market made
up of mostly sellers and very few buyers. Multitudes would lose
their homes to repossession.
oThere would be an ominous rise of homosexual power.
oA sudden storm of confusion would take place on Wall Street.
oGod's watchmen and prophets would be silenced.
oThe U.S. dollar would collapse.
oAmerica would lose control of its economy. To date, China has
loaned America hundreds of billions of dollars. We have become
the world's number one debtor nation, no longer in control of our
finances.
oAlong with many other watchmen, I see that the greatest
shaking of all is still to come.
oWhat we are about to witness upon the earth will affect every
person living. The world is going to see a temporary calm, with
relative stability, causing many to say, "The crisis has passed."
But in truth, the real panic will still be ahead of us.

The GREATEST DECEPTION

Hasil gambar untuk The GREATEST DECEPTION
The GREATEST DECEPTION
by David Wilkerson

The greatest deception in the modern church is the matter of using
God's Word to put a badge of approval on covetousness. On the
surface, the Jezebel doctrine works (see 1 Kings 21:14-16). It got
Ahab what he wanted. He possessed his rights because when a
man was stoned for high treason against the king, all his
possessions reverted to the king.

Naboth the Jezreelite had told Ahab that he would not give him
the inheritance of his fathers because the Lord forbade him to do so.

"And [Ahab] laid him down upon his bed, and turned away his face,
and would eat no bread. But Jezebel his wife came to him, and
said unto him, Why is thy spirit so sad, that thou eatest no bread?
. . . Dost thou now govern the kingdom of Israel? Arise, and eat
bread, and let thine heart be merry: I will give thee the vinyard of
Naboth the Jezreelite" (1 Kings 21:4-7).

Listen to the doctrine of Jezebel: "You are king, number one, and
you have rights. Let nothing stop you from getting what you want."
She said to Ahab, "Be happy! I'll get it for you." That is the false
gospel in a nutshell. "Don't sweat it. Don't feel sad or condemned
by those desires that eat you up. I'll get it for you." Like the
deceptive methods Jezebel used, these doctrines twist and
misuse Scripture.

But Ahab could not enjoy what he received because of a pesky
prophet of God. "And the word of the Lord came to Elijah the
Tishbite, saying, Arise, go down to meet Ahab . . . in the
vineyard of Naboth, whither he is gone down to possess it. And
thou shalt speak unto him, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Hast
thou killed, and also taken possession? . . . In the place where
dogs licked the blood of Naboth shall dogs lick thy blood. . . .
And Ahab said to Elijah, Hast thou found me, O mine enemy?
And he answered, I have found thee: because thou hast sold
thyself to work evil in the sight of the Lord" (1 Kings 21:17-20).

Imagine Ahab walking about his new possession, saying, "Isn't
life sweet? Ah, Jezebel. I may not agree with all her methods,
but she certainly gets it done." But dogging his every footstep
was the prophet Elijah.

So it is today. God has sent prophets, crying aloud, confronting
the Jezebel doctrine of materialism, making it uncomfortable for
Christians to enjoy their playthings and acquisitions. They have
sold out. They cannot see it, but sin is behind all this. Every
time I cry out against the prosperity doctrine, I sense the spirit
and power of Elijah upon me. You are going to hear more and
more exposing of this Jezebel doctrine. Everywhere, prophetic
voices will be heard loud and clear, crying out, "Sin! You
possessed by selling out to sin."

GOD of THE IMPOSSIBLE

Hasil gambar untuk GOD of THE IMPOSSIBLE
GOD of THE IMPOSSIBLE
by David Wilkerson

It is not enough for us simply to believe in God as creator, the
maker of all things. We also have to believe that He's a God who
yearns to do the impossible in our lives. The Bible makes it very
clear: If we don't believe this about Him, we don't trust Him at all.

In my opinion, no amount of counseling will do a person any good
if he doubts God for a miracle. Don't misunderstand-I am not
against Christian counseling. But it is useless to counsel someone
who is not fully convinced God can fix his problem, no matter what
the problem may be. Couples must believe that God can save their
relationship; otherwise, my counsel is in vain. Things may appear
absolutely hopeless to them; they may have built up years of
resentment and bitterness. But they have to be convinced God
can do the impossible.

I tell such couples right away, "Yes, I'll counsel you. But first I
have to ask: Do you truly believe God can fix your marriage? Do
you have faith that no matter how impossible things look to you,
He has the power to restore your relationship?"

Some answer, "But you don't know what I've been through with
my spouse. I've been wounded deeply. My hurt is beyond what
you could ever imagine." This kind of response tells me they
have bought the devil's lie. He has convinced them that their
situation is hopeless. Yet Jesus has spoken clearly to every
one of His children: "The things which are impossible with men
are possible with God" (Luke 18:27).

All over this nation, Christians are giving up on their marriages.
Even some of my minister friends are divorcing. When I talk with
them about their situation, I realize they don't think their marriage
can be healed. They simply don't trust God to do the impossible
for them. We do not really believe in God unless we believe He
is the God of the impossible!

"True revival is that divine moment when God bursts upon the scene
and displays his glory."
- Del Fehsenfeld Jr.

"Revival awakens in our hearts an increased awareness of the
presence of God, a new love for God, a new hatred for sin, and
a hunger for His Word."
- Del Fehsenfeld Jr.

"A revival almost always begins among the laity. The ecclesiastical
leaders seldom welcome reformation. History repeats itself. The
present leaders are too comfortably situated as a rule to desire
innovation that might require sacrifice on their part. And God's
fire only falls on sacrifice. An empty altar receives no fire!"
- Frank Bartleman

"Revival, no matter how great or small in its ultimate scope,
always begins with individual believers whose hearts are desperate
for God, and who are willing to pay the price to meet Him."
- Del Fehsenfeld Jr.

"Nothing short of an outpouring of God's Spirit will revitalize and
empower an impotent and anemic church to display once again
His glory to a lost world."

Why we don't have revival?

WHY we DON'T HAVE REVIVAL
by Leonard Ravenhill

In an old town in Ireland they'll show you with reverence a
place where four young men met night after night after night
praying for revival. In Wales, there's a place in the hills where
three or four young men only 18 or 19 years old met and prayed
night after night. They wouldn't let God go; they would not take
no for an answer. As far as humanly possible they prayed a
revival into birth. If you're thinking of revival at your church without
any inconvenience, forget it. Revival costs a lot.

I can give you one simple reason why we don't have revival in
America. Because we're content to live without it. We're not
seeking God - we're seeking miracles, we're seeking big crusades,
we're seeking blessings. In Numbers 11, Moses said to God,
"You're asking me to carry a burden I can't handle. Do something
or kill me!" Do you love America enough to say, "God, send
revival or kill me"? Do you think it's time we changed Patrick
Henry's prayer from, "Give me liberty or give me death," to "Give
me revival or let me die"?

In the 30th chapter of Genesis, Rachael goes to Jacob and
throws herself down in despair. She says, "Give me children or
else I die." Are you willing to throw yourself down before God to
seek the spiritual birth of spiritual children in our country?

People say, "I'm filled with the Holy Spirit." If the coming of
the Spirit didn't revolutionize your prayer life, you'd better check
on it. I'm not so sure you got what God wanted you to get.

We've said that prayer changes things. No! Prayer doesn't
change things. Prayer changes people and they change things.
We all want Gabriel to do the job. God says do it yourself - with
My sufficiency and My strength.

We need to get like this woman, Hannah. What did she do? She
wept, she was grieved, she said she had a complaint, she fasted -
and she prayed.

Jesus, the anointed of God, made prayer His custom. Paul,
with his background and intellect, depended on prayer because
he said he was weak. David, the king, called himself a poor man
and cried to the Lord. Hannah prayed for a son and gave birth to
a prophet. The prayers of a handful of young men sparked revival.

There's nothing more transfiguring than prayer.

"A minister, who prays not, who is not in love with prayer, is not a

NOTHING BUT FAITH

NOTHING BUT FAITH
When the time comes to enter the darkness in which we are naked and helpless and alone; in which we see the insufficiency of our greatest strength and the hollowness of our strongest virtues; in which we have nothing of our own to rely on, and nothing in our nature to support us, and nothing in the world to guide us or give us fight--then we find out whether or not we live by faith.”

More GREAT QUOTES

"We often have a tinted view of revival as a time of glory and joy
and swelling numbers queuing to enter the churches. That is only
part of the story. Before the glory and joy, there is conviction; and
that begins with the people of God. There are tears of godly sorrow.
There are wrongs to put right, secret things...to be thrown out,
and bad relationships, hidden for years, to be repaired openly. If
we are not prepared for this, we had better not pray for revival."
-Brian Edwards

"Study the history of revival. God has always sent revival in the
darkest days."
-Adrian Rogers

"Revival is a renewed conviction of sin and repentance, followed
by an intense desire to live in obedience to God. It is giving up
one's will to God in deep humility."
-Charles Finney

"A revival, then, really means days of heaven upon earth."
-D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones

"Revivals begin with God's own people; the Holy Spirit touches
their heart anew, and gives them new fervor and compassion, and
zeal, new light and life, and when He has thus come to you, He
next goes forth to the valley of dry bones..."
-Andrew Bonar
